From Your Nursery to Your Online Store, Every Part of Your Garden Business Connected.
Manage live plants, seeds, pots, gardening supplies, counter sales, online orders, landscaping projects and maintenance services from one business system. Know what's in stock, what's been sold, which jobs are profitable and what customers still owe you.
The Daily Challenges We Solve
These operational gaps cost garden & horticulture centres profit and customers. MartPoint was built to close every one.
Plants That Cost You Money Standing Still
Live stock loses value every week it sits. A plant that fades, dries out or breaks is money gone — and unless it is recorded, nobody knows how much you actually lost.
The Same Plant at Six Different Prices
A banana plant in a 6-inch pot and the same plant in a 12-inch pot are different products. Without sizes and grades kept apart, prices drift and counts never match the benches.
Counter, Nursery and Website Disagree
What sold at the till, what is standing in the nursery and what your website says is available give three answers. Overselling online starts in that gap.
Landscaping Work That Looks Busy but Earns Little
Plants, soil, stones, labour and haulage go onto a job and disappear into the general expense pile, so you cannot see which projects paid and which one did not.
Maintenance Customers You Cannot Keep Up With
Weekly and monthly garden visits, who came, what was done and what is still owed live in someone's memory or a notebook. Repeat billing slips quietly.
Purchasing on Feel
Pots, compost and fertiliser get reordered when someone notices they are gone. Without stock levels, cost and selling history you tie money up in the wrong stock.
One Garden Business. Multiple Revenue Streams. One MartPoint.
A garden centre is four businesses wearing one name. Most systems only handle the first.
Garden Retail
Walk-in sales at the counter: plants, pots, seeds, compost, fertilisers, pest control and tools.
- Search any plant or supply by name and check stock at the till
- Sell by piece, bag or weight in the same transaction
- Split payments, print or send a receipt, close the day with a summary
Online Plant Store
Publish the stock you actually want to sell online, with real prices and availability.
- Your own storefront on your own domain, included with every plan
- Cart, checkout and order management in the same system as the till
- WhatsApp ordering and invoices for customers who would rather chat
Landscaping Projects
Design and installation work: quotations, deposits, materials and the balance at handover.
- Itemise plants, soil, stones and labour on one quotation
- Take a deposit before you buy the materials
- Materials issued for the job reduce stock instead of vanishing
Garden Maintenance
Recurring visits: pruning, lawn care, weeding and seasonal clean-ups billed per visit or per month.
- Maintenance visits added as service lines with the consumables used
- Every visit and payment on the customer's record
- Send the invoice to their phone and see who still owes
How MartPoint Helps Garden & Horticulture Centres
Every feature is designed for your daily workflow, from the first customer to the final report.
A catalogue built for live plants
Keep each variety by pot size, grade and price, alongside seeds, pots, compost, fertilisers, pest-control products and tools — in one catalogue, not three lists.
Stock that matches the benches
Every sale at the till, on WhatsApp or online draws from the same inventory. Low-stock alerts and physical stock counts keep the numbers honest.
Expiry and batch where it matters
Seeds, fertilisers and pest-control products carry batch numbers and expiry dates, with alerts before they pass instead of after a customer complains.
Quotes, deposits and balances per customer
Raise a quotation for a landscaping job, take the deposit before you buy materials, then track the balance and what each customer still owes.
Services billed as properly as products
Maintenance visits, pruning and lawn care go on the invoice as service lines next to the plants and soil used, so nothing is worked for free.
Answers in seconds, not in the evening
Sales, profit and margin, expenses, top-selling lines and stock value — on one dashboard, exportable when the bank or your accountant asks.
Your Plants, Listed Properly, Sold Online
The online store is part of the licence, not a separate product. Stock, prices and orders sit in the same system as your counter.
A catalogue customers can browse
Publish selected products with photos and prices. How many products go online depends on your plan, from 500 on Basic to 20,000 on Enterprise Retail.
Sizes and grades priced apart
The same plant in different pot sizes shows as separate priced options, each with its own stock — variation capacity scales with the plan, and extra variations can be added.
Availability you can trust
Online listings draw from the same inventory as the till, so a plant sold at the nursery is not still on the website this afternoon.
Cart, checkout and paid orders
Customers order online and pay by card through your own Paystack, Moniepoint or Flutterwave account — gateway fees are charged by the gateway, not by us.
Pickup or delivery, priced your way
Set your own shipping and pickup charges per area. Third-party delivery integration and shipment tracking come with Premium and Enterprise Retail.
Enquiries that reach you, not a void
Customers who need advice before buying order through WhatsApp, and the order lands in the same system as everything else.

Not claimed on this page: A dedicated care-guide field on the product page and automatic two-way stock sync with an existing Shopify catalogue are not things we can confirm today. Connecting an existing website (Shopify, WooCommerce or custom) is included on Premium and Enterprise Retail; on lower plans the practical route is one stock record in MartPoint with your listings published on your own MartPoint storefront.
A Landscaping Job, From First Enquiry to Final Payment
The same six steps you already walk — with a record left behind at every one of them.
- 1
Enquiry
The customer walks into the nursery, calls or messages on WhatsApp. Their details and what they want are recorded once, on one customer profile.
- 2
Quotation
List the trees, shrubs, soil, stones and labour with quantities and prices, so the quote is the shopping list — not a guess in a notebook.
- 3
Deposit
Take the deposit before stock is bought or set aside, with the balance and its due date recorded against the customer.
- 4
Execution
Plants, compost and consumables issued for the job leave your inventory as they are billed, so stock counts still tie up afterwards.
- 5
Completion
Raise the final invoice for the work done, with the deposit already applied and the amount still owed shown plainly.
- 6
Final payment
Record the balance in cash, transfer or card. Outstanding debts and who still owes you stay visible on the dashboard.
What we do not claim: MartPoint does not produce a per-project profit and loss report, and it does not automatically schedule recurring maintenance visits. You can see what each job was quoted, what was billed and what is still owed; labour and on-site costs are recorded as expenses, and the visit calendar stays yours to keep.
What You Get With MartPoint for Garden & Horticulture Centres
Built-in tools that work out of the box, with no IT team required.
Pot sizes and grades as separate prices
Sell one plant in 4, 6, 10 and 12-inch pots without ten SKUs of confusion — variations are priced and counted individually.
Losses recorded, not absorbed
When plants die, pots crack or stock is damaged, record a stock adjustment. The value leaves your inventory instead of quietly vanishing.
Bags, pieces and weights in one sale
Compost by the bag, seeds by the packet, fruit trees by the piece, soil or sand by weight — with purchasing units and selling units kept straight.
Expiry alerts on seeds and chemicals
Batch and expiry tracking with alerts, so old fertiliser and seed stock is moved or written off before it reaches a customer.
Deposits that protect the job
Take a deposit before materials are bought, apply it to the invoice, and see the remaining balance against the customer's name.
One customer across shop, site and store
The person who buys a single pot online and the compound you landscape is one record with one history and one balance.
Why Garden & Horticulture Centres Choose MartPoint
The difference between running on hope and running on numbers.
Questions Garden & Horticulture Centres Ask
I already sell on my website through Shopify. Do I have to move everything across?
Not necessarily. Connecting an existing website — Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom site — is included on Premium and Enterprise Retail, so you can keep your current address and listings while MartPoint runs your counter, stock and jobs. What we do not offer today is an automatic two-way stock feed with Shopify: the reliable way to stop overselling is one stock record in MartPoint, whether the sale comes from the till, WhatsApp or a storefront. We will look at your current setup and tell you honestly which route costs you less disruption.
How do I stop selling plants online that have already gone from the nursery?
Because the till, WhatsApp orders and your online store draw from the same inventory, a plant sold at the counter stops being available online. How many products you can list online depends on your plan, from 500 on Basic to 20,000 on Enterprise Retail.
Plants die on me. How do I record that instead of hiding it?
Record a stock adjustment for the plants that were lost, and back yourself up with physical stock counts at intervals. The value leaves your inventory where it can be seen in reports, instead of turning up as an unexplained gap between what you bought and what you sold.
Can I sell the same plant in different pot sizes at different prices?
Yes. Product variations are priced and counted separately, so a 6-inch and a 12-inch specimen of the same variety are two options under one product. Variation capacity depends on your plan, and extra variations can be added if you outgrow it.
Can I take a deposit before I buy materials for a landscaping job?
Yes. Raise a quotation with the plants, soil, stones and labour listed, take the deposit against it, then issue the final invoice with the deposit applied. Part payments and the remaining balance sit on the customer's record, and outstanding debts show on your dashboard.
Do you handle recurring garden maintenance schedules?
Each visit is billed as a service line, with the plants, compost and consumables used added to the same invoice, and the whole history kept on the customer's profile. Automatic recurring visit scheduling and calendar reminders are not part of the product today, so most maintenance customers keep their own visit rota and use MartPoint for the billing and the record.
I sell compost by the bag and soil by the load. Can one system hold both?
Yes. Products can be sold by piece, bag or weight, with your purchasing unit and selling unit kept straight — the same line that arrives in bags can be sold out by piece or by weight.
Do seeds, fertilisers and pest-control products need separate tracking?
They can have it. Batch numbers and expiry dates are tracked with expiry alerts, so stock that is close to passing is moved, discounted or written off before a customer takes it home.
The internet at the yard is unreliable. Will my counter stop working?
No. MartPoint keeps selling when the connection drops and syncs afterwards, so the queue does not wait on the network. Online-dependent features — storefront orders and online payments — pause until the connection returns.
Can my staff see only their own till and not my costs?
Yes. Each member of staff gets a named user account with role-based permissions, and actions are logged with the time and the person, so discounts, refunds and stock adjustments have a name against them. How many users you can add depends on your plan.
What does it cost?
Retail Cloud is one annual licence, and the price depends on the capacity you need — branches, users, products, online listings, services and media. The current figures are on our pricing page, and we always quote the lowest combination that fits. Implementation, payment gateway accounts, messaging, domains and hardware are costed separately unless they are bundled into your offer.
